The meeting of the Town Council will be held on Tuesday 29th July 2025 commencing 7.00pm at Craven Arms Community Centre.

Members of the Public and the Shropshire Councillor for the area can address the Town Council meeting in the first fifteen minutes prior to commencement of the actual Town Council agenda.

  1. Apologies: 
  2. Declarations of Interest:  Declaration of any disclosable pecuniary interest in a matter to be discussed at the meeting and which is not included in the register of interests. Members are reminded that they are required to leave the room during discussing and voting on matters in which they have a disclosable pecuniary interest, whether the interest is entered on the register of members’ interests maintained by the Shropshire Council.
  3. Minutes: To confirm the minutes of the previous meeting.
  4. Matters Arising from the minutes on items not included on the agenda.
  5. Chairman's items:  Items the Chairman wishes to bring before the Council not of a policy issue.
  6. Amenity Items: Craven Arms Flooding Scheme, Craven Arms Playing Fields,Any other Amenity Items
  7. Highway Items: To consider Highway issues , To consider Streetlighting issues and consideration of the quotes for the conversion of the Councils Street Lights to LED lamps detailed in the Clerks report.
  8. Financial Items: To approve the Accounts for Payment and consider Financial Statement, To consider grant application from the Craven Arms Allotments Group.
  9. Planning Items: To consider Planning Applications that have been received by the Town Council.The funding of future Neighbourhood plans etc
  10. Report from other organisations to which the Town Council have a representative.

  12. Date of Next Meeting: The next meeting of the Town Council will be held on Tuesday 30th September 2025
  13. Confidential Items Under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 S1(2), to resolve to exclude Public and Press due to the confidential nature of business relating to the consideration of the sale, expressions of interest (subject to contract) and the options included in the Clerks confidential report of the Council Land adjacent Barclays Bank Corvedale Road Corvedale Road Craven Arms.
